It all started with my yahoo groups. I kinda just stopped reading them. Those daily digests would pile up by the hundreds in my mailbox. Then when we decided to go on the road I knew the internet situation was going to change so I unsubscribed or went to no mail on most groups. I didn't miss it at all really.
After a few months of slow or non existent internet. I found the only thing that I really cared about was facebook. I can keep up with almost all my friends in one place. And I still do love it for that. But even so, I find myself going there less and less and pretty much not at all on the actual computer. (I can see a condensed version on my phone) And just focusing on being here with my family instead.
I don't think its all because of the annoying internet. I'm not sure why really, i just don't seem to have time. And I'm not one of those people who thinks playing on the computer is a waste of time believe me. It seems that right now. (And always) my kids are all growing and changing and learning things at such an alarming rate I'm racing to keep up with them. I just need to be here.
They are all swimming like crazy, Kaya by himself in the deep water. Pearl and Fern just started using their swimmies and now already Fern is trying to swim without them. Pearl is really getting comfy in the water and isn't minding getting water on her face anymore, which is HUGE for her.
Pearl and Fern are riding their bikes by themselves and also riding in the bike trailer we got so Kaya and I can go fast ;)
Besides that there's always the massive pretending sessions, reading, writing, coloring, dressup, cooking, making food out of playdough, obsessing about our latest obsession (right now: harry potter). You know, life stuff.
So, I'm sorry to anyone who I haven't been keeping in touch with. Its really not a strength of mine. It doesn't mean I don't love you, I do.

Awesome update! Blog is looking good. Isn't it amazing how kids just swim one day? Anyway, look forward to following you all on here! Be well.
Thanks for posting. Kids are fast learners, and they don't have to be told to live in the moment. Unfortunately that's something that tends to get conditioned out of us by society as we grow up... Long may we all resist this :)
It seems time flies so fast...We were kids once and we know the feeling. Let the kids enjoy their moment in time.
