What's going on... What's going on...

I'm writing this fron my phone so things are automatically capitalized and punctuated. Very out of character for me, eh?

We have been staying with our friend bonnie north of jacksonville this week. Even though its only 20 minutes to jacksonville it is very country-like, this is the south and I keep getting funny reminders of it. Anyway its been nice staying here. Bonnie has a a nice yard and a big trampoline that the kids have been enjoying. They are having fun just playing with her and going out to run errands and stuff too. Its been a nice relaxing week so far.

On saterday danny has a pro poker tournament that he is excited to go watch a little south of here. We will go park by there for the night and then we are thinking back to st aug for a bit more. I have a few more touristy things I want to do there and we need to get our water pump fixed before we do much else. We also have to say bye to all the awesome people we've met around here!
So ya, our water pump is broken. I'm don't want be a whiner and I'm trying to be positive about it but seriously, shit keeps breaking! We got about to the carolinas when the batteries and generator started acting up and then the engine. We got all that taken care of a while ago. Lately its been electrical stuff and both tvs shorted out. Not to mention dannys computer has been messed up since before we left. It all piled up so quick we have been choosing the big stuff to take car of. It will all get done anyway and we are having fun no matter what! Its been warming up, not beach weather yet but it was so cold a couple weeks ago ill take anything now!

Staying here with bonnie has made me realize what an awesome network of unschoolers and other awesome friends we have at our fingertips. We want to go and hang out with new friends and old friends and staying with other families is way cooler than campgrounds and parking lots! I'm going to try to be more organized with my online life so I can find people who will have us stay with them(we will pay for whatever electricity and water we use of course). I need to join groups and actually keep up with them and keep in touch with the people I meet. If only all my socialization could be through facebook my life would be so much easier ;) I also need to keep better track of when all the conferences and other fun stuff is going down so we can try to do some of that on the way to where ever we are going!
For now our general plan is to get to southern california by the spring and head up the coast for the spring and summer. I'm not going to even try to imagine more than that right now!
